The Classic project!
“We’re starting this year with our new year 7 cohort with the classic project: Bottle Rockets!
So far:
Attached fins to our bottles.
Designed / painted the bottles.
Made our launch pads….
Update:
So, we had built our rackets and our launchers, and it was time to launch!
We engineered a simple triangulation device that would be used to measure the angle of the height that the rocket got to.
Then, using a reasonably simple trigonometry equation, we were able to work our how high each of the rockets had gone. Our highest was a mighty 45 metres!”
