We will be holding the Big Bang Yorks & Humber - a regional celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, at Kelham Island Museum, Sheffield on Thursday 8th July 2010.
If you have pupils aged 11-18 who have undertaken, or are working on STEM based projects started after July 2009, there is a place for them! To register your interest in attending, please visit www.thebigbangfair.co.uk/yorkshirehumber. Spaces are limited so do get your requests in by 7th June 2010.
STEM projects entered into the Big Bang Yorks & Humber will be in with the chance of walking away with an invitation to the national Big Bang event in March 2011 as a competitor in the prestigious National Science and Engineering Competition.
The Big Bang Yorks & Humber will also host the regional finals of the CREST Awards (managed by the British Science Association), and the Young Engineer for Britain Competition (managed by Young Engineers).
Successful projects from the Big Bang Yorks & Humber will be given the opportunity to showcase their projects at the national Big Bang Fair in 2011, alongside the best from around the UK.
