Project 8 has been running since the start of the spring term and has involved weekly sessions, where STEM Club members take part in a range of fun science related activities. The project started with challenging the students to determine the mass of snow that had fallen on the school site over the Christmas holidays and how much energy would be needed to melt it all. In the following weeks students have used microwave transmitters and receivers to send morse code messages, attempted to perform Prince Rupert's glass bubble experiment, competed to make the strongest electromagnet and dissected a cow's heart each!
