Project 6 last ed for five weeks and comprised of the building and testing of nine different rockets by club members. The aim of the project was to decide which was the best type of rocket with the different designs being judged on height, distance, accuracy and fun level.

A points table was also kept to find out which pupil was the best rocket designer. Robert Howarth from 9FDI won the competition after launching the highest water rocket, flying his ethanol rocket the second furthest and the competition highlight - landing his air rocket into a basketball hoop from the other end of the gym!!!

Other highlights included firing explosive match stick rockets, making rockets from tea bags and setting off fireworks on the final session.
