bearded dragons

We have purchased 2 bearded dragons and have completed a project on them- feeding/habitats/ breeding etc. Students are responsible for their care, and come in every lunchtime to feed and socialise them

We used the specifications from the young engineers competition to carry out our own trials to allow us to move eggs across gaps!

Deep visit

We took a trip to the deep at Hull to make some vidoes about sealife with our new video camera

Chicken hatching

We collected some fertile eggs and incubated them. We learned about ho fertilisation of the eggs took place and how to check embryo development. When the eggs hatched we kept them in the lab and studied how they developed. The chickens will now become part of the Gardening Club run by another member of staff in the school
