The overall aim of this project is for the group to design and build a water rocket. After a series of outdoor tests the group should use a number of mathematical (in particular graphical) techniques to investigate the behaviour of the water rocket with varying amounts of water in it. In the final session the group will take their bottle rockets outside once again for a competition to see whose rocket can stay up in the air for the longest period of time.
